Smt. Sonal Sharma

Born on 30 th Oct 1985 to Mr. Suresh Kumar Thama and Mrs. Usha Thama in the city of Chandigarh. Originally, belong to Kalka, Haryana. Matriculated from Sophia Convent School, Kalka and competed Higher Secondary in commerce from DAV Hansraj Public School, Panchkula. Graduated from MCM DAV College, Chandigarh in Psychology Honours. Thereafter, pursued and graduated Law from the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Practised Law in District Courts, Panchkula and meanwhile Mastered in Law from Kurukshetra University. Qualified the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service Examination in the year 2015 and soon after underwent induction training at Himachal Pradesh Judicial Academy from 24th of July 2015 till 14th of January 2016. Thereafter, got posted as Civil Judge (Junior Division)- cum-Judicial Magistrate, VIII, at Shimla and assumed charge on 14th of January 2016. Thereafter, posted as Civil Judge-Cum-JMIC, VI at Shimla and assumed charge on 11th of July 2017. Joined as Civil Judge(Jr. Div.)-cum-JMIC, Arki, District Solan w.e.f 12.03.2018. On transfer and assumed the charge as Civil Judge-cum-JMIC, Court No. 6, Shimla on 28.12.2018.On transfer, remained posted as Civil Judge-cum-JMIC, Court No. 5, Shimla w.e.f 04.06.2020 to 04.08.2021. Thereafter, assumed the charge as Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate First Class, Court No. 4- Shimla, (H.P.) on 04.08.2021. Now on transfer joined as Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate First Class, Court No.1 – Solan, (H.P.) on 10-04-2023.
